How It All Started
"I’ve always been a creative person, so I thought Architecture would be the perfect career path for me. However, while studying Architecture at university, I realised that Architecture was not sparking joy in my life. It wasn’t fulfilling me and I struggled to convert my design ideas and concepts into physical forms and structures. I loved the initial ideating, conceptualising and problem solving but didn’t feel very creative when designing in the built environment. Thankfully, I discovered UX/UI. It was love at first sight. The digital space combined all of my favourite aspects of design and allowed me to be even more creative with my ideas.
I still enjoy architecture, but I see it more as an art that I admire. However, looking back, I’ve been building delightful, human-centred experiences in my Architecture projects the whole time! I was always focusing on how the users would interact with the space and based my designs on user research and psychology.😊
Since working in the world of UX/UI, I've realised that technology is a very powerful tool which enables me to reach out and impact the lives of many users with my designs. I thrive on challenges and the feeling of fulfilment whenever I share my ideas and creativity with others."
